Washington, DC – Command & Control Center

Unfortunately, we cannot say exactly where this is in Washington, DC, but we can provide an overview of the system.

Our Director of Systems, Tom McNerney, designed this Command & Control Center to meet a very high level of system capability as well as reliability.  For UXGA resolution, we selected JVC D-ILA projectors and Hitachi plasma displays.  Because the system required interfacing with 32 control computers, more lines of AMX control code were written than on any other project ever done by York Telecom.

To ensure that installation would go perfectly, the system was verified using CAD before pulling any cable.  And to ensure the highest level of service and support, we provided a comprehensive Professional Services Contract, our largest in 25 years.
