York Telecom also provides traditional integration services for all your visual communication needs including videoconferencing, streaming video, distance learning, custom multimedia rooms and multimedia networks. As your single point of contact, York Telecom provides the engineering expertise and field engineer resources to fulfill your expectations.
Project Management
York Telecom’s Project Managers are responsible for the effective management and coordination of your system and services, serving as the single point of contact. Our Project Managers ensure the effective and efficient execution of work including allocation and scheduling of resources, approval of modifications to meet your needs, and procurement of equipment and materials.
Procurement
Based on either a York Telecom designed solution or your own product specifications, we can procure best-in-class products as required for your visual communications installation. Our Logistics Group has strong relationships with key manufacturers, to ensure that you receive the components necessary to assemble a complete and fully-functional system, in a timely manner, at the right price.
Programming
York Telecom will use its vast wealth of experience in programming to make your visual communications system work as designed. We follow a professional, detailed programming process for every project, from the Initial Development Meeting to the Final Programming Review. Our Programming team develops the control system functionality and Graphic User Interface design, and then makes changes requested by the users. The control system software is completed and installed during the Staging phase of the project.
Staging
Before we install product at your location, our certified engineers test the interoperability of each product at our in-house staging facility. The equipment is installed within equipment cabinets or custom furniture, and are wired according to the Design specification. Following a successful test, your products will be repackaged with the appropriate cables and components and shipped directly to your location.
Integration/Implementation
This work is divided into two phases: Infrastructure Installation and System Integration. Our visual communications and networking experts will install all mechanical and electrical infrastructures, and will then integrate your complete solution. Once your visual communication system is installed and running, we will conduct testing and calibration of the system. Finally, we will deliver final documentation, and will train your staff to effectively utilize and manage your new visual communications system.
