• FEDERAL SALES EXECUTIVE
  

  A Great opportunity for a Federal Account Executive with a high growth technology company. York Telecom provides state-of-the-art audio-visual collaboration solutions to major government and commercial clients. Offering turn-key managed solutions, York Telecom has a proven track record of success in delivering technology and services such as video conferencing, campus video distribution, distance learning applications, television broadcast facilities, broadcast automation, online interactive multimedia video, network infrastructure, video call management, 24 x 7 maintenance and help desk support.   We have 25 years of experience in the federal arena.  

  Our client set is enterprise commercial and government clients, and includes experience in many federal agencies, as well as the DOD. We both prime and partner for opportunities. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate in the Metro DC to generate revenue on our Federal Sales Team.

   

  Candidates should possess

  ·         Ability to develop new sales leads and opportunities through various prospecting techniques

  ·         Ability to generate revenue in assigned Department of Defense (DoD) accounts

  ·         Ability to manage existing sales leads and opportunities

  ·         Ability to develop responses for RFP’s, RFI’s, RFQ’s, etc.

  ·         Ability to develop supportive relationships with partners to assist with sales opportunities

  ·         Ability to generate demand for the companies service and solution offerings

  ·         5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the visual communications and conferencing industry

  ·         Familiarity with Polycom, Tandberg and Cisco conferencing products is a plus

  ·         Familiarity with visual collaboration, video managed services, streaming and / or webcasting is a plus.

  ·         Proven experience in developing a sales territory and exceeding quota

  ·         Have an understanding of the Federal Marketplace, Clearance Processes and Federal Contracts

   

  Candidate must be willing to travel which could require multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work area.
